BR-07

An Invoice shall contain the Buyer name (BT-44).

error: the document is invalid Peppol documentation ↗

Why it fails

  • The buyer's legal name is missing: UBL keeps it in cac:PartyLegalEntity/cbc:RegistrationName of the customer party; a cac:PartyName alone doesn't count.

How to fix it

Add cac:PartyLegalEntity/cbc:RegistrationName to the buyer party (ram:BuyerTradeParty/ram:Name in CII).

What the rule checks

As the rule set's publisher wrote it. The rule runs on every element the context matches, and fails where the test is false; the validator reports the line of that element.
