Netherlands NLCIUS Invoice (CII)

Dutch e-invoice in CII (NLCIUS)

A Dutch e-invoice in UN/CEFACT CII D16B, checked against the CII schema and the NLCIUS rules for CII (EN 16931 and BR-NL).

About

NLCIUS, the Dutch core invoice usage specification of EN 16931, has a UN/CEFACT CII form next to SI-UBL. It carries the same identifier (urn:cen.eu:en16931:2017#compliant#urn:fdc:nen.nl:nlcius:v1.0) and the same Dutch rules.

Good to know

  • Rules run only when the document matches the schema. Documents over 50 MB are checked against the schema only.
  • The rules are the NLCIUS-CII validation artefacts 1.0.3.13, which include the EN 16931 rules 1.3.16 for CII.
  • The example is from the NLCIUS test documents of Peppol Autoriteit NL (MIT).

The validator loads all of these with their folder structure, so includes and imports resolve as published.

Business rules

Schematron · run in this order

The rules run after the schema check, only when the document matches the schema, and in your browser like the schema check (with SaxonJS by Saxonica). Each finding names its rule, such as BR-CO-15, and the line it points at; each rule has a page with what it checks.
