JUnit XML report
The JUnit XML test report that CI systems read (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions reporters).
About
JUnit XML has no official schema: each test tool writes its own variant. This is the schema the Jenkins xUnit plugin validates reports against, and one of the most used descriptions of the format.
Good to know
- Tools add attributes this schema does not know (for example skipped on testsuites, or file and line on testcase). A report flagged here may still be read fine by your CI.
- The example is by xmlvalid.com.
Example document
TEST-report.xml · 1.1 KB · valid against this schema
