DTD Spring Framework · 2.0

Spring beans 2.0 DTD

Spring application contexts written against the beans DTD.

About

Older Spring XML configurations declare the beans DTD instead of the beans XSD. Spring still accepts them.

Good to know

  • Configurations using the XSD-based namespaces (context:, tx:, util:) are not DTD documents and are not checked here.
  • Class names and property names are not checked against Java code.
  • The example is by xmlvalid.com.

  -F document={{ $schema->example ?? 'document.xml' }} -F schema=spring-beans-2.0

Free accounts get 100 API validations a month. On Pro, a URL monitor can check a published document against this schema every hour and email you when it breaks. More CI setups
