Sitemap 0.9

XML sitemap

The sitemap.xml format read by Google, Bing and other search engines.

About

A sitemap lists the pages of a site with optional last-modified dates. Search engines accept up to 50,000 URLs and 50 MB (uncompressed) per file.

Good to know

  • The schema checks foreign elements strictly, so a sitemap that uses the image, video or news extensions is reported invalid here. Choose Sitemap with Google extensions for those.
  • URL counts, file size limits and whether the URLs work are not checked.
