Customer Payment Status Report
The bank's answer to a payment file: which transfers or direct debits were accepted and which were rejected, with a reason code.
About
pain.002 reports the status of a pain.001 credit transfer or pain.008 direct debit file, for the whole file, a payment batch or each transaction. Version 10 belongs to the same 2019 release as pain.001.001.09 and pain.008.001.08.
Good to know
- Reason codes such as AC01 or AM04 come from the ISO 20022 external code lists, which change independently of the schema; the schema only checks their length.
